About

Macclesfield Community ArtSpace is a charity run by volunteers supported by two part time coordinators, to provide the people of Macclesfield and surrounding areas with a place to make art.

From on site workshops to town-wide events like Step into Christmas, Lunar New Year, and the summer parade, there’s always something to get involved in!

Events & Workshops

We run and host arts workshops and courses for all ages such as sewing, printmaking, papier mache and festive crafts from our ArtSpace on Heapy Street. These are paid (or occasionally free thanks to funding or volunteers donating their time).

Arty Drop Ins

We welcome individuals and community groups to drop in and use the space during opening hours for £5 per session. All materials and refreshments included or bring your own project.

Our drop in hours are Mondays 6-9pm [closed bank holidays], Tuesdays 10.30am - 7.30pm and Wednesdays 10.30 - 4.30pm
